Sarah Zwick-Tapley
Sarah Zwick-Tapley has worked professionally as an actor, director and
comic. A member of Actors Equity Association, her acting credits include
American RepertoryTheatre, Boston Playwrights Theatre, the Guthrie,
the Moscow Art Theatre and the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C.. Ms.
Zwick-Tapley is the Theatre Chair at Trollwood Performing Arts School
in North Dakota, has served as the founding Artistic Director of Rising
Star Theatre, a theatre for teens at risk in Cambridge, MA; directed
touring student productions and the original play, Voices, as Onstage
Company Director at Kidstock Creative Theatre Education in Winchester,
MA; directed the creation and production of the original production
Primal at Camp Reymontouvka, an international fine arts camp in Sildce,
Poland; as well as directed college productions at Newman University,
Coe College and Harvard University. Sarah has an MFA in Acting from
a joint program between American Repertory Theatre, Harvard University
and the Moscow Art Theatre in Russia and a BA in Acting from Illinois
State University. She has worked with David Mamet, Lee Breuer, Robert
Woodruff, Catherine Fitzmaurice and Russian theatre scholar Anatoly
Smeliansky. She has a passion for multi-cultural theatre and has taught
courses covering the theatre of China, Japan, Indonesia, India, and
Sub-Saharan Africa. Currently, she is teaching a Special Projects course
in the theatre of the Native Americas.
