On the Open Road

The Second Stage (ISU Studio Theatre) slot has been chosen as On The Open Road by Steve Tesich. Tesich is the writer of Academy Award winning film Breaking Away, as well as The World According to Garp, American Flyers, and Eyewitness. First opened at the Goodman Theatre in Chicago in 1992 and then produced a year later at the New York Shakespeare Festival, ISU will be producing the play in April of 2001, one week following Stars Over Veishea.
