Patrick Gouran
Patrick Gouran holds a Ph.D. degree in Theatre from the University of Colorado. He has been involved in theatre all of his adult life. Gouran’s work as a director was most visible during his thirty-four year tenure as a Professor of Theatre at Iowa State University. In addition to directing for the stage, Gouran has appeared in numerous plays in both the academic and non-academic theatre worlds. Gouran’s work as a stage actor ranges from Sir Toby Belch in Shakespeare’s TWELFTH NIGHT to Barney Cashman in Neil Simon’s LAST OF THE RED HOT LOVERS. And Gouran is no stranger to acting for the camera. He has acted in a wide variety of independent films, training videos, and commercials. His most recent film work can be seen in the recently-completed THE FINAL SEASON.
